Por Favor, a staple of the La Mesa Village, will close its doors after a final day of business on June 30.
“After nearly 40 years, it is with a heavy heart that we announce that we will be closing our La Mesa location,” a notice from management reads. “From Oktoberfests to Car Shows and all the great events in between, we will truly miss being a part of this community. A HUGE thank you to all our customers over the years. We loved serving you our margaritas and great Mexican food.”
The corner-lot restaurant was listed for sale earlier this year, with a requested price of $395,000. Listing details reveal the 3,500-square-foot property’s monthly rent is about $7,100.
