Meet your local police officers and firefighters at a community event to raise awareness about safety. Bring your bicycle and helmet to joint the bike rodeo in the La Mesa Police parking lot at 8085 University Ave. This event is free to the public.

In honor of the Jan. 29 Lunar New Year, the San Diego Social Network will host an outdoor dumpling making classes at Harry Griffen Park.
